We pull each player's game log and lean on the last 15 games harder than the full season. What someone is doing right now tells you more than what they did back in April.
Hot streaks lie. A rookie who's raked for 20 games isn't suddenly the best hitter in baseball. We drag small samples back toward what's realistic, and the smaller the sample, the harder we pull. That's what keeps you off the mirages.
Then we account for the things that actually move a game:
• The pitcher. An ace drags everyone's line down.
• Lefty/righty splits. Some hitters live off one side.
• Home vs road. Plenty of guys are a different player away from home.
• The ballpark. Some parks quietly eat home runs.
• Weather. Wind and heat carry the ball.
• Batter vs pitcher history, when there's enough of it to mean anything.
Those projections become probabilities, get ranked into props and parlays, and once live odds are wired in, they get checked against the book to flag real value.
